Schema

FAQ

What is Schema?

Schema is a Figma conference focused on design systems. It’ll take place virtually on October 7th, 2021.

How do I attend?

Applications for Schema are closed. To get recordings via email next week, provide your email here.

Why do you have an application process?

While we love bring our entire community together, we realize it’s hard to build community and dig deep into specific topics when events have an unlimited amount of attendees. Our goal is to create more events that are smaller and topic-specific. Schema is for you if you are:

  • a design systems or design ops leader
  • formalizing your design system or working on design systems at scale
  • on a team looking to expand and customize your workflows with tooling on Figma APIs

What can I expect at Schema?

You can expect a great lineup of design systems talks, opportunities to network with other attendees, space to ask your burning Figma questions, and to connect with design systems practitioners from around the world.

We believe that everyone should have the equal opportunity to fully participate and will do our best to make our event accessible to all attendees. We will provide captioning, ASL, and chat throughout the event—all attendees will have the ability to opt in/out of those offerings. We’ll also work with speakers to ensure presentations are accessible to attendees with vision impairment or low vision. For this specific event all content will be in English.

What is expected of me?

We have a Code of Conduct that applies to all Figma community spaces, both online and off. We expect all Schema attendees to adhere to the Code of Conduct before, during, and after the conference.

Will Schema be recorded?

Yes. You can access the recordings the Schema sessions here.

Is your event accessible?

Attendees will be able to turn captioning and ASL on and off during the event.
